KASO Secondary Services for Injection Molded Parts
KASO Plastics understands your project might need more than injection molding, and that is why we offer our Secondary Services. The advantages to our customer are many and include reduced costs, shorter lead-times, and single supplier responsibility. KASO’s services include assembly, decorating, machining, ultrasonic welding, EMI shielding and more. You will find many of these services performed directly off our molding machines.
Pad Printing
Pad printing is a printing process that can transfer a 2-D image onto a 3-D object using an indirect offset printing process that involves transferring an image from the printing plate (cliché) via a silicone pad onto a substrate (surface to be printed). Our Pad Printing capabilities include multiple color, one and two component inks, color matching and cliché construction. Assembly
Whether your assembly needs involve soldering, bonding, testing, multiple-component assembly, electronics, or custom packaging, KASO Plastics can help you realize higher productivity and lower costs. We also perform multiple operations in-line and directly off the molding press.
EMI Shielding
EMI and RFI shielding include coatings, gaskets, enclosures, sealants, resins and other products or materials that block out electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio frequency (RF) interference. Our tenured engineering staff can help you map out the specific needs for your particular project and assist you in understanding the most cost effective and efficient way to apply shielding elements to your product.
Ultrasonic Welding and Insertion
KASO Plastics offers Ultrasonic Welding because of its versatility and advantages over other processes. Our welding capabilities include, but not limited to, bonding two pieces of plastic together, installing threaded metal inserts, staking components to a plastic part and cleanly degating parts from their runner. Compared to other processes, Ultrasonic Welding is fast, reliable and lower cost.
