We are very proud to announce KASO Plastics has been named 2014 Supplier of the Year by International manufacturer NACCO Materials Handling Group!
The award recognizes the longstanding relationship between NMHG and KASO Plastics, which has spanned nearly 40 years, as well as the extraordinary growth of the engagement over the past decade.
The award is given each year to a single supplier out of more than 800 worldwide companies that work with NMHG. It recognizes the outstanding performance of KASO’s team from initial order throughout manufacturing, and especially ongoing customer relationship management. On-time delivery and quality records throughout the working relationship were cited as key factors in receiving the honor, as was the top-rated engineering support KASO provides for its customers.
“Everyone at KASO has had an impact in winning this award,” says Dean Christensen, Sales V.P. at KASO Plastics. “An award like this requires a great team effort. As an organization, we’ve demonstrated our commitment to successful long term relationships with our customers.”
The award was presented at an awards ceremony at NMHG Corporate Headquarters in Greenville, NC in February. KASO Plastics President Darin King and Christensen traveled to accept the award on behalf of KASO.
NACCO Materials Handling Group, which manufactures Hyster and Yale forklifts and industrial machinery, is the third largest forklift manufacturer in the world. The NMHG Supplier of the Year Award is one of four awards presented by NACCO each year. Others include Continuous Improvement, Quality, and an award for Above and Beyond.
