KASO HAS ADDED A NEW PRODUCT LINE WITH ACQUISITION OF VANGUARD FENESTRATION BUSINESS

KASO Plastics has added a brand new line of molded window products this week with the acquisition of Vanguard Fenestration from VPL Enterprises Ltd of Langley, British Columbia.

The line of fenestration products is a proprietary product line developed by VPL, one that no longer fit into VPL's business plan. The KASO team is very pleased to acquire Vanguard's inventory, dies and manufacturing fixture in exchange for cash. The Vanguard Fenestration line includes molded window products and other products for doors and windows.

The new acquisition fits in nicely with KASO's plastic injection molding and manufacturing knowledge, experience and equipment and we expect it will also increase our manufacturing efficiency and add increased stability for our longterm workforce.

The Vanguard acquisition is also expected to add six or seven new full-time jobs. The acquisition was finalized March 5, 2013.
