To ensure our company maintains a competitive edge in the injection molding industry, KASO Plastics frequently invests in new capital equipment to ensure our continued ability to produce high quality products at competitive prices.

To start off the new year, we’ve recently invested in a new Arburg 1200 T 1000-400 Vertical Clamp Injection Molding machine. The new injection molding machine replaced one of two Engel Vertical Clamp Injection Molding Machines currently in use at KASO’s manufacturing facility in Vancouver, WA.

Among the uses particularly well-suited to the new Arburg Vertical Clamp machine is the encapsulation of inserts and harnesses. The new Arburg machine comes equipped with a rotary table that enables simultaneous removal and insertion during injection molding. Over-molding is a popular process frequently used for injection molded electrical connectors and cable harnesses. These are used for a wide variety of applications across diverse industries including automotive and consumer electronics.

The new Arburg 1200 T Vertical Clamp Injection Molding Machine’s rotary table build additional efficiency and accuracy into production, which means shorter cycle times and higher productivity rates for our injection molding processes at KASO. We are excited to pass these efficiency gains on to KASO customers for highly-accurate and repeatable results for your next injection molding project!
