NEW REPORT SIGNALS ROSY 2012 FOR MOLDMAKERS

Results from a recent Winter 2012 Business Forecast Survey presented by the American Mold Builders Association are in... and things are looking good! With almost half of moldmakers who responded expecting an increase in business in 2012, rising employment and increasing profits, all signs seem to predict the positive growth that began in 2011 will continue through 2012.

The survey also noted an increase in new equipment purchases for many mold manufacturers in 2012. KASO is adding new 3D printing capabilities to our rapid prototyping services with the recent purchase of a 3D printer. The new equipment was purchased in order to better serve our KASO customers and improve the prototype process during early stages of product design, catching potential issues before they become expensive production problems down the line and enabling customers to move easily from prototype to mold design and creation at KASO. Stay tuned for more information about our new 3D printing services!
