KASO EMPLOYEES TEAM UP WITH F.I.S.H. TO HELP FIGHT HUNGER

For many years, KASO employees have teamed up with local emergency food bank F.I.S.H. (Friends in Service to Humanity) for an annual drive to help collect food and other personal items to be used to help stock up the Vancouver-area Food Bank’s supply.

F.I.S.H. is unique in that the food bank is entirely volunteer-run, with food, clothing and other supplies provided by local Vancouver-area businesses and other organizations. This year, F.I.S.H. will help provide crucial supplies to more than 16,000 families in the Vancouver area. Nearly one-half of those who receive food and clothing from the organization are children.

In Washington alone, more than 250,000 households live their daily lives experiencing hunger or the threat of hunger. We are so proud of our employees’ continued dedication to help F.I.S.H. continue providing these necessities to local area families, and we look forward to another year of giving back to our community.

Curious how you can get involved? Visit the F.I.S.H. website for more information about donations and volunteer opportunities today!
